Rapid City Central Orchestra Fundraising 2025-2026

Donations made will support the students in the Rapid City Central Orchestra program. You may donate to the general Orchestra fund, or you may choose to donate specifically toward the fund for our trip to Chicago to perform in the 2026 WorldStrides Heritage Festival. 

Traveling to perform at a national music festival with an ensemble provides students with opportunities that go beyond the classroom. The chance to perform and listen to other ensembles is both inspiring and motivating, and students will cherish positive memories of the trip for a lifetime. 

At the Chicago Heritage Festival, students will:
-Perform in a national music festival
-Receive an onstage workshop with esteemed music clinicians
-Receive constructive adjudication and feedback
-Attend an awards ceremony
-Sightsee in Chicago, including city highlights and museum visits
-Attend the touring Broadway production of "Hamilton"
-And more!

Donations to the general fundraising account will support orchestra students through: purchase of new strings for school instruments, instrument accessories, sheet music, guest clinicians, CHS orchestra attire, and more.
