No matter where we stand politically, the fact remains we are all surrounded by veterans, siblings, spouses, parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends. Whether they served in the active duty/reserves of the armed forces what truly matters is that they all served to protect.
Initially, my goal to run this half marathon was to motivate my fitness journey. However, adding the fundraising portion has allowed me to support Branson Veterans of America 913 in their mission to respect and honor veterans of all eras.
If you have the means and would like to donate, please do so. If your budget is tight, there's no pressure. Instead, take a moment to say a prayer, asking to give veterans in need the strength to seek help.
Together, we can make a difference and show our appreciation for those who have served.
