The Arc of Massachusetts enhances the lives of people with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families across the Commonwealth. For over 70 years, we have led the way in advocating for community supports and services that promote inclusion, self-determination, and equity across all aspects of life.
Our mission is grounded in the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to live a meaningful life in the community. We advocate for policies and funding that strengthen access to essential services such as family support, education, employment, recreation, and residential options.
The Arc of Massachusetts provides information, guidance, and training to thousands each year, while also working directly with legislators and state agencies to protect and advance the rights of people with autism and IDD.
The Arc is a vital resource for the more than 250,000 individuals with autism and IDD in Massachusetts and the families who love and support them. As a trusted voice and tireless advocate, we are proud to stand at the forefront of the disability rights movement – ensuring that every person has the tools, supports, and respect they need to thrive.
We at The Arc of Massachusetts are thrilled to be a Charity Partner for the Flutie 5K again! Every day we work to ensure that people with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) have the supports they need to live full, meaningful lives in the community.
From securing funding for essential services to training future medical professionals through our Operation House Call program, we are advocating, educating, and making change happen. Our work is more critical than ever as families face waitlists, staffing shortages, and policy threats that put independence and inclusion at risk.
We’re excited to walk, run, and rally as a team and hope you’ll join us or support our efforts. Your donation helps us continue fighting for access, equity, and dignity for the more than 250,000 people with autism and IDD in Massachusetts.
Let’s raise awareness, elevate voices, and move toward a more inclusive world together. Learn more about us at www.arcmass.org and follow us on social media @TheArcOfMass.
