The Aaron Zenus Foundation evolved as a grassroots movement to keep a child's dreams and memory alive, uphold the kindness, love, and compassion of a 12-year-old boy whose life was taken too soon, and create a world of inclusion, respect, and acceptance for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The Foundation's mission aligns with Aaron's dreams to encourage, respect, and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism. It intends to increase opportunities for adults transitioning out of the public school system and ensure that they each have an inclusive life in the community, rich with opportunities for meaningful work, enhanced social networking, and access to social programs, sports, recreation, and the arts.
