Autism is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder that affects communication, social interaction, and behavior. It is estimated that 1 in 36 children in the United States are diagnosed with autism, making it one of the most prevalent developmental disorders. Our journey with Autism began in 2022 when my son Micah was diagnosed at just under 2 years old! It’s has been a difficult but beautiful road. We have had ups and downs, but with all the help from his amazing team of people who love & care for him so much, Micah has shown amazing strides! Every child deserves to have this kind of support! They need us to encourage their strengths, celebrate their quirks, and improve their weaknesses.
Autism can be a beautiful thing if people take the time to understand it. I don’t know what the future holds but as a mom of a child with autism I want to make sure my son & all the other children/adults are provided with all the tools they need in this life to be successful! The best way to predict the future is to create it! So help me do that!! Please donate if you can & help make this world a better place for Autistic people to live in!
